Girls Cali Weekend

Bhuzzies= A group formed in high school during physics class.

I'm sure you have heard me mention "the bhuzzies" a couple times here and there. These girls are my best friends, soul sisters, and family. We talk to each other on a weekly basis, have lunches together, girls nights. You name it and we do it.

When Tashina entered a fitness competition in California over the summer, Connie and I decided to take a road trip to surprise her! She had no idea we were coming. We had to take our pictures with out posting them on FB. So hard! Ha! We made t-shirts and posters:) The first time she saw us was at the competition. Tashina is amazing. This girl finds a hobby that she loves and just takes it as far as she can. It is amazing to watch her achieve so much. When she decides she is going to do something, she totally commits to it. She never has a excuse, she just does what she needs to. Love her:)

If you have never been to a fitness competition, you should. It is SO entertaining!! The body builders have these crazy poses. They come out and flex, which makes them shake because they are holding their pose for so long. Don't even get me started on the spray tans! After the competition we went to Cheesecake Factory where we stayed until about midnight. Fav part of the night was when we all took a turn doing our favorite pose while Nate said in a Spanish accent, "Please come to the front of the stage and give us your favorite pose"!

Kellee lived in LA while we were there so we got to stay with her, which was reason enough to have a party. We had so much fun spending time together. Kellee moved to Cali shortly after graduation, and just moved back to AZ about a month ago. It's so nice having her home after being gone for 10 years. While we were there we went to a thrift store. In High school we used to ditch...(well the other girls would ditch and I would call my mom and make her sign me out because I was too afraid of getting caught:) and go to thrift stores. We would try on wedding dresses, prom dresses, pretty much anything. While we were at this thrift store in LA we couldn't believe our eyes when we saw 3 matching bridesmaids dresses. Perfect! We had a fashion show in the dressing room for probably too long. When we came out there was a line waiting for our room. Whoops:) The last day we were there we went to Santa Monica and had breakfast, and went for a walk on the beach. It was such a fun weekend! I think Tashina is signed up for another one in Cali next summer so we will have a chance to do it all over again:)
