My little man is 6 months old!! He had his appointment today and here are his stats:
15 pounds
26 1\2 inches
i don't remember his head but she did say that he had a perfect shaped head:)
I am pretty sure he is teething...he loves to bite my face:) He can almost sit up by himself..He leans forward and puts his fists on the floor like a gorilla! He just figured out how to blow spit bubbles. He rolls all over the place. He sleeps thru the night. He pretty much smiles all day. I am just so in love with my little guy. I can't believe he is already 6 months!! This is by far my favorite age. We finally get to start some baby food YIPPEE! I had to wait this long since Kylee has food allergies my Dr. was worried he might have some too. SO we are keeping our fingers crossed that he won't.
QUESTION: His next appointment I have the option of giving him the flu shot. Both kids have gotten the regular shots but I have always opted out of the flu shot. I guess since the swine flu went around the Dr. office is really going to push for kids to get the flu shot. What are your thoughts on this?

I'm going to try and be objective about this, but I'm "pro stick", what can I say?
Absolutely get the flu shot! So, I've seen kids die in the hospital because they didn't get vaccinated. On the other hand, I've never bothered getting the flu shot myself since this is the first area I've lived in where it's necessary. And consequently, I get sick about once a year. Go figure. Get 'er done.
He is so cute and six months already wow. I've never given my kids the flew shot but it couldn't hurt. Kylee is to cute I love her.
He is such a cutie! I love the Disneyland idea! When are you going? I had never had the flu shot until Rachel was a baby... me and Andy both had to get it cuz she wasn't old enough. She got it the next year, but I haven't had her get it since... It is hard judgement call. I am all for "regular" vaccinations, but I don't know how I feel about the flu shot?
He is so adorable! I wish i knew more about vaccines but i wont have an opinion for another year..:)
Owen can't get the flu shot because it is grown in egg embryo and he is allergic to eggs. He has been fine, but I have been extra careful to not take him around anyone that is sick. My doctor said the best defense is a good offense so making sure everyone else around him has either the flu shot or isn't sick. You are the mom (and a good one at that) so you will know what you need to do, either way, I am sure everything will be fine.

GET THE FLU SHOT!!!!! You have to get it in 1/2 doses the first time they get a flu shot, so bring him back for his second dose!!!!
They are so cute.
They had some spray that Sy just breathed in that he did last year and I did not get one for Vin. I haven't decided what I'm doing this year. I do not think I will be having the boys get one. I will just keep them away from anyone sick, and wash hands ALOT!!!!! That is the best defense.
I know I am way late, but I did not give Mckemy the flu shot, or the rotovirus! I thinkt he flu shot is ridiculous :)
