So I got a phone call from Mark today around noon and he was all fired up about something. He was going off about something he had heard on talk radio. They announced that starting tomorrow there was going to be toll booths on all of the major freeway entrances. He was going off about how much money it was going to cost him a week to get to work and back and how he was going to have to re-route his drive and find a way to get there with out using the freeway. He called me several other times during the day still wanting to talk about it......About ten minutes ago he came inside from working out in the garage and called my name really seriously. I turned to him and he says, "I was just listening to talk radio again and the whole thing was an April Fools joke!" We both start laughing because they seriously had him so fooled! I have been laughing all by myself inside about how funny he is! I wish I could of recorded how mad he was on the phone when he heard the news about the booths!! I am so glad that he can laugh about stuff like this, I just love him!

That's a really good one... I never did come up with a good April Fool's Joke this year. Megan did, though... she came home from school with a "disciplinary note" from school that said April's Fools on the back!
That's hilarious! It reminded me of Sonny. He's ALL ABOUT talk radio. In fact, he's on it all the time so tell Mark to listen for him. :)

uh ya my husband totally called in. He is obsessed with talk radio, listens to it all the time. He has been on the radio about 3 times now. When I call him and its busy I jhust assume he is on the radio. Oh how i love him! Ha ha!

When Drew told me he heard about that on talk radio, my initial thought was that it didn't seem right. I mean $1.01 for the 101 and $2.02 for the 202. And how would they implement something like this, on those freeways anyway? Seriously, there are on ramps like every mile.
Anyway, by the end of the day, we knew it was just a joke as well. They are trying to get ready to do it on possibly some highways, but I don't think Mark will be affected by it.
I was going to borrow Connie's positive pregnancy test and use it to fool Drew about me, but I decided I didn't want him to have a heart attack (j/k ha ha)
