Girls Night

I have the best husband. We have such a good relationship. I love that he lets me do what I want...haha that sounds bad but I think you'd agree it's nice to have your voice heard and your own decisions. One of the things that I love about us is how we hang out. We hang out together, we hang out separately, we hang out with our kids, and we hang out without our kids. Sometimes it's nice to just get out of the house and go be free for a while. I have so many amazing friends that I love and adore. Here are two of them. Constance and Kellifonia. I've known Connie since I was 13 and Kellee since I was 16. These two own a piece of my heart and know me better than I know myself sometimes. They are honest, loyal, trustworthy, and most importantly make me laugh constantly!!

Dinosaur Museum

We went to the Dinosaur Museum with my good friend Jana and her beautiful little kids. I love that place. It has so much to see and do.  Anything indoor is the place to be during the hot Arizona Summers. Jana has 3 kids that are pretty much the same age as mine. I've known Jana since I was 14. She moved from Utah a little over 3 years ago and I just love having her so close! Our children love each other and our husbands have a total bromance going on. She's one of my favorite people to hang out with:)

4th Of July

This year for the 4th we stayed in Arizona. We got together with my friends and their families for a swim party BBQ. There were SO many kids!!! After we were finished swimming and eating, we came back to my house to light off fireworks and eat some more:) I'm not sure if the kids or the husbands had more fun. Men get so giddy when they get to light things on fire that explode.  The weather sucked but the company was great.

Multiple Personalities

Dawson is such a ham. I don't remember my other two having this much spunk and personality at this age. He is always full speed ahead. He's either 100% happy or 100% angry. He brings so much laughter into our home and I wouldn't trade his little scowling face for the world.

It Was Bound To Happen

We had our first ER/Stitches scare this year with Brock. All three kids and Mark were on the bed wrestling around and Brock some how jumped off the bed and smacked his head on our night stand. It was the loudest bang I think I've ever heard! I looked over and just saw Mark holding Brocks head with blood gushing every where. Kylee was freaking out and screaming...haha this makes me laugh thinking about how freaked out she was. She is such a sweetheart but does not handle stressful situations very well:)  We threw all the kids in the car and drove next door to the hospital and were lucky enough to get right in. Brock was such a champ. He didn't cry at all. He just held my hand and squeezed it every once in a while. I've heard this will be our first of many ER trips! I'm really hoping we get a few years in before we have another scare like this again.

Summer Fun

We got the summer move passes this year. Every Thursday we went to a movie with some friends and then headed over to a pool to swim and eat lunch. The kids loved it and looked forward to every Thursday!! It was a nice way to get out of the heat, and then enjoy the heat in the water. Brock learned how to swim this summer. I just took his floaties off one day and had him swim a little bit and that's all it took! He's our little fish now and just loves the water! Dawson loves to swim and is so much fun to watch! He loves to kick his legs up and float on his back. Kylee worked on diving this summer and  I think by next summer she will be a pro!

10 Year Baby

My 10 year graduation reunion happened a lot faster than I thought it would! I seriously cannot believe it has been 10 years since my last day of High School!! I went to a small Charter School in Mesa called Heritage Academy. There were 43 people in my graduating class!! Heritage was a place where there were no "cool kids" or "nerdy kids". Everyone had a name and more importantly had a friend. Very rarely would you see someone getting made fun of or bullied, if you did it got taken care of very quickly but other students watching. Everyone was friends. Everyone was nice. I absolutely loved every second of my high school experience. I'm pretty much still in contact with everyone I went to school with. Facebook and InstaGram have really helped with the people I don't really see or talk to very often. The reunion was small, but still a lot of fun. I will forever be thankful for Heritage and how it molded me and introduced me to my life long friends!

Graduation Day

Brock was in a wonderful Preschool with Ms. Nicole last year. He had so much fun and learned so much. We weren't able to get him into her class again this year because of my work schedule...one of the many downsides of working and being a mom is your kids missing out on things. It happens all of the time, but this one stung a little bit more than the others.  Here are some pictures from his big graduation day:)

Kylee had her Kindergarten program a few days after Brock's graduation. Her class didn't do a big graduation ceremony like I thought they would. I was a little sad about that. She had a wonderful teacher, Mrs. Lloyd. Fingers crossed Brock gets her next year when he starts school!!  Mrs. Lloyd put together a cute little program with songs and speaking parts, it was really fun to watch. I can't believe how fast the school year went by!! Kylee learned SO much. It's amazing to me how quickly little brains absorb things!
